Mariners acquired LHP Anthony McIver from the Twins for cash considerations.
McIver was a 15th-round pick out of the University of San Diego in 2015. The 25-year-old southpaw was pitching at the Double-A level prior to the trade, with a 2.70 ERA and 15 strikeouts over 13 1/3 innings in eight appearances, all of them in relief.
