Double-A Frisco’s Ben Harrison went 0-for-2 with three walks Thursday in his 2007 debut.
Harrison had been out while recovering from a separated shoulder. He’s 25 already, so it was a major setback for his chances of ever finding a home in Texas. Harrison has been pretty productive when healthy, hitting .289/.379/.510 between Single-A Bakersfield and Double-A last year, but he’s a long shot to become a regular.

Ben Harrison went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts Wednesday in his first start for Double-A Frisco.
He was picked off after reaching base. Harrison hit .293/.397/.520 in 331 at-bats for Single-A Bakersfield. He’ll be 25 at the start of next year, so he can’t afford an adjustment period in Double-A if he’s going to make it to the majors someday.

Ben Harrison hit his seventh and eighth homers for Double-A Frisco on the final day of the regular season Sunday.
Harrison, a University of Florida product, finished with 26 homers and 101 RBI between Single-A Bakersfield and Frisco. He turns 25 later this month, so he’s hardly a top prospect. Still, he might have a future as a bench player.

Ben Harrison went 5-for-7 in a doubleheader for Anzoategui of the Venezuelan Winter League on Saturday.
He’s 15-for-32 with two homers and two doubles so far. Harrison turned 25 last month, so his .289/.379/.510 line between Single-A Bakersfield and Double-A Frisco isn’t quite so impressive. He’ll have to maintain that kind of performance in Triple-A next year if he’s going to have a career.
