2003 first-round pick Brian Snyder went 3-for-4 with two homers for Single-A Kane County on Sunday.
Snyder is hitting .301/.414/.483 this season, but since he’s a 22-year-old in the Midwest League, those numbers are only so impressive. The A’s likely will move him up to the California League next month.

Double-A Midland’s Brian Snyder drove in six runs with a grand slam and a triple on Monday.
Injuries have held Snyder back, and the A’s left the 2003 first-round pick available to be taken in the Rule 5 draft in December. At .200/.317/.400 in 35 at-bats, he’s not really any closer to reestablishing himself as a prospect.
