Dodgers placed RHP Brock Stewart on the 15-day injured list with a right shoulder strain.

Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Friday that Stewart is dealing with a minor shoulder issue and isn’t expected to be sidelined for much longer than the minimum stint on the injured list. Cole Irvin was promoted from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move on Friday to take his place in the Dodgers’ bullpen.

Brock Stewart pitched a perfect ninth against the Mets for his third career save Saturday.

Tanner Scott came in during the eighth for what looked like it might be a five-out save. However, the Dodgers instead decided to go to Stewart in the ninth, probably because Scott also threw 16 pitches last night. Stewart got through the inning easily, striking out Francisco Lindor and Carson Benge while also getting Bo Bichette to ground out. His previous saves came with the Dodgers in 2017 and the Twins in 2023. The oft-injured Stewart has a 2.03 ERA in his 13 appearances when he’s been able to pitch this season.

Dodgers activated RHP Brock Stewart from the 15-day injured list.

Stewart has been limited to just a pair of appearances for the Dodgers this season due to foot and shoulder issues. The hard-throwing 34-year-old remains an extremely effective high-leverage option, when healthy, despite battling physical issues for the last few seasons. He’ll factor into Los Angeles’ late-inning mix while closer Edwin Díaz continues working his way back from elbow surgery.

The Dodgers are planning to activate Brock Stewart from the injured list on Monday.

Stewart, on the IL with a bone spur in his left foot, has allowed one run over four innings during his rehab stint with Low-A Ontario. Jonathan Hernández would seem to be likeliest candidate to be bumped from the Dodgers pen to open up a spot, though he is out of options.

Brock Stewart (foot) progressed to facing hitters earlier this week at Dodger Stadium.

Stewart is likely going to need a rehab assignment since he’s made just two appearances this season due to foot and shoulder issues. The 34-year-old has the stuff to pitch in high-leverage spots and will help fortify Los Angeles’ late-inning mix once he’s back in early June.

Two appearances and then right back on the IL for the oft-injured Stewart. He came off the IL on Wednesday after spending the first six weeks rehabbing from shoulder surgery.

Dodgers activated RHP Brock Stewart (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list.

Stewart is recovering from last season’s shoulder surgery and will make his season debut when he gets into a game. He was solid in 2025 for the Twins and Dodgers in 37 2/3 innings and will work in the middle innings out of the bullpen.

Brock Stewart (shoulder) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Low-A Ontario.

Stewart is working his way back from last year’s shoulder procedure that cut his return to Los Angeles short. The 34-year-old figures to be ready to make his season debut at some point in the next few weeks.

Dodgers agreed to terms with RHP Brock Stewart on a one-year, $1.3 million contract.

Stewart, 34, had a 2.63 ERA in 37 2/3 innings for the Twins and Dodgers last year, but he required shoulder debridement surgery at the end of the season and will probably miss at least the first month of 2026. He’s slated to become a free agent after the 2027 season.
