Pirates INF prospect Cam Devanney went 2-for-3 with a walk, a home run, and two runs scored for Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday.
Devanney, who was acquired from the Royals for Adam Frazier earlier this month, his hitting .275/.375/.547 in 78 games at Triple-A this season with 19 home runs, 56 RBI, and three steals. Since coming to the Pirates organization, Devanney has played three games at shortstop, four games at third base, and one game at second base. The Pirates figure to call him up after the break to replace either Ke’Bryan Hayes or Isiah Kiner-Falefa in the starting lineup, depending on what happens at the trade deadline.
