Vallimont

Vallimont, 27, made his major league debut for the Orioles last season, though it was a brief one; he allowed no runs in two-thirds of an inning. He had spent this season pitching in indy ball, going 3-1 with a 3.29 ERA for York of the Atlantic League. He’ll become part of the Dodgers’ Triple-A rotation.

Vallimont passed through waivers unclaimed after being designated for assignment earlier this week and will remain with Cleveland as extra organizational pitching depth.

Vallimont has been removed from Cleveland’s 40-man roster to open up a spot for the club to claim outfielder Ramón Laureano off waivers.

Vallimont made his big-league debut last week for the Orioles before being designated for assignment. The 26-year-old righty will head to Triple-A Columbus as extra organizational relief depth for the Guardians.

Vallimont was just demoted to Triple-A yesterday, and now he’s off the 40-man roster. The 26-year-old has posted ERAs just over 5.00 in Triple-A the last two years, but the Rockies or another team might grab him in order to have another arm around.

Vallimont was called up for the first time in his career over the weekend and made his big-league debut on Monday against the Yankees. He’ll head back to the minors to await another opportunity sometime this summer.

Vallimont joins Baltimore’s bullpen mix for Saturday’s contest against the Twins and will be making his major-league debut when he gets into a game. He was claimed off waivers last June from Minnesota. The 26-year-old righty has posted a lackluster 5.02 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 64/30 K/BB ratio across 14 1/3 innings (eight starts) this season for Triple-A Norfolk.

Vallimont was claimed off waivers from the Twins back on May 25. The 25-year-old righty was added to Minnesota’s 40-man roster last offseason, but struggled at Double-A Wichita before being cut loose last month. He’ll get a fresh start in Baltimore.
