Royals re-signed LHP Cole Watts to a minor league contract.
Watts appeared in 14 games for the Royals’ Rookie League affiliate in Idaho Falls in 2019, compiling a 7.71 ERA, 1.79 WHIP and 46/16 K/BB ratio across 42 innings. At this stage, he’s nothing more than minor league depth for the Royals.
