2007 fifth-round pick Collin DeLome hit his ninth and 10th homers Wednesday for low Single-A Lexington.
DeLome looks like the best prospect from the Astros’ ridiculously weak 2007 draft, and he’s striking out more than once per game as a 22-year-old in low-A ball. The Lamar product should possess the power to make it as a corner outfielder, but his on-base ability is in question. He’s currently hitting .261/.341/.541 with a 45/15 K/BB ratio in 157 at-bats.
