Colton Cowser went 2-for-4 and slugged a go-ahead three-run homer on Thursday night, powering the Orioles to a 4-1 victory over the Rays in Tampa Bay.
Cowser did his damage off of Edwin Uceta in the sixth inning, crushing a 369-foot (96.7 mph EV) three-run blast that gave the Orioles a 4-1 advantage. The 25-year-old outfielder also led off the fifth inning with a double, though he never advanced past second base. With his two-hit night, Cowser is now hitting .210/.269/.532 with six long balls and 10 RBI.

Colton Cowser went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a steal in a loss to the Rays on Wednesday.
Cowser’s home run was a 388-foot shot that left the bat at 100 mph and was one of three balls he hit on the day that had exit velocities of at least 100 mph. He now has five home runs and one steal in 16 games on the season, which shows his true power/speed upside. He needs to be rostered in all formats, and the batting average should tick up soon.

Colton Cowser went 1-for-4 and clubbed his fourth home run of the season as the Orioles triumphed over the Rays on Tuesday.
Cowser gave the Orioles a 2-1 advantage in the fifth inning with a 405-foot (109.1 mph EV) solo shot off of Rays’ right-hander Zack Littell. That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night, but it proved to be the difference in the ballgame. On the season, the 25-year-old outfielder is hitting just .182/.237/.418 with four homers and four RBI in his first 59 plate appearances.

Colton Cowser (general soreness) is back in the lineup for Monday’s series opener against the Rays.
Cowser is in left field and batting eighth on Monday night following a three-game absence stemming from a collision with the center-field wall during last Thursday’s showdown against the Tigers. The 25-year-old outfielder is hitting .219 (7-for-32) with two homers in nine games since returning from the injured list back on June 3.

Colton Cowser (general soreness) remains out of the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Angels.
Cowser will get some extra time off to rest and recover following a collision with the center-field wall during Thursday’s game against the Tigers. The 25-year-old outfielder isn’t dealing with anything specific from an injury standpoint, but he’s going to sit out his third consecutive contest on Sunday afternoon. It’ll be Cedric Mullins patrolling center field in his place.

Colton Cowser remains out of the Orioles’ starting lineup for Saturday’s battle against the Angels.
Cowser is dealing with a variety of injuries after crashing into the outfield wall on Thursday and has now missed each of the O’s next two ballgames. It doesn’t sound like he’s going to require a trip to the injured list, but if he isn’t ready soon the Orioles’ hand may be forced here. Cedric Mullins will start in center field and bat eighth for the O’s against Tyler Anderson and the Angels on Saturday.

Colton Cowser was held out of the lineup for Friday’s series opener against the Angels with general soreness.
Cowser was held out of Baltimore’s lineup on Friday evening following a collision with the center-field wall during Thursday’s game against the Tigers. The fact that he isn’t dealing with anything specific, based on comments from Orioles interim manager Tony Mansolino, is an encouraging sign. He should be available off the bench this weekend and seems likely to avoid a trip to the injured list.

Cedric Mullins is not in the Orioles’ starting lineup for Thursday night’s tilt against the Tigers.
The 30-year-old outfielder started each of the first two games in his return from the injured list, but he’ll take a seat on Thursday evening with tough opposing southpaw Tarik Skubal taking the mound for the Tigers. Colton Cowser will cover center field and bat ninth for the O’s on Friday.

Colton Cowser clobbered a solo homer while going 2-for-5 on Saturday, leading the Orioles to a 7-4 win over the Athletics.
Cowser absolutely clobbered a solo homer off Luis Severino in the sixth that went an estimated 457 feet. It’s the third homer of the season for the 25-year-old, and it is of course worth mentioning that total has come in just nine games after missing significant time with his fractured thumb. Cowser has been a streaky hitter over his short major-league career, but he’s more than talented enough to be a strong fantasy option for 2025 and beyond as long as he’s healthy.

Colton Cowser went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in the Orioles’ 5-1 win over the Mariners on Tuesday.
Cowser was a welcome addition to the Baltimore lineup on Tuesday after a two-month absence with a broken thumb. He went yard off Eduard Bazardo for a solo homer to lead off the sixth inning for his second home run of the season after going 2-for-16 across his first four games prior to the injury.
