Giants re-signed INF Cristhian Adames to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Adames played in 10 games with the Giants this season. He’ll give them infield depth next year.

Giants sent INF Cristhian Adames outright to Triple-A Sacramento.
The 28-year-old held his own in a small 24 plate appearance sample with the Giants in 2019, slashing .318/.375/.364 with no homers and a pair of RBI. He’ll continue to function as minor league infield depth.

Giants purchased the contract of INF Cristhian Adames from Triple-A Sacramento.
It’s the first trip to the big leagues for Adames since the 2017 season. In 61 minor league games this season (primarily at Triple-A), Adames slashed .278/.366/.532 with 10 homers and 39 RBI. He’ll add bench depth for the Giants the rest of the way.

Giants signed INF Cristhian Adames to a minor league contract; assigned him to Triple-A Sacramento.
Adames was released by the Cubs this past Monday. He’s been limited to 18 games this year in the minors because of injuries but has flashed good power when healthy. The 27-year-old infielder could get a shot in San Francisco at some point in the second half.

    Cubs released INF Cristhian Adames.
Adames posted impressive numbers this spring in the Cactus League and he hit well at Triple-A Iowa when healthy, but injuries have limited him to appearing in just 18 games this season in the minors. The 27-year-old infielder will look for a new opportunity on the open market.

Cubs reassigned INF Cristhian Adames to minor league camp.
Signed to a minor league contract with an invite to spring training, Adames put up big numbers in the Cactus League, but was always an extreme long shot to make the Opening Day roster. He’ll head to Triple-A Iowa -- assuming there’s no opt-out -- and could see some playing time for the Cubs if there’s an injury or struggles.

Cubs manager Joe Maddon mentioned Christhian Adames as a possibility to crack the Opening Day roster in the event that Daniel Descalso is forced to begin the season on the injured list.
The 27-year-old is having a terrific spring, hitting .438 (14-for-32) with three homers, 11 RBI and a stolen base in Cactus League play. Even if he does land a bench spot though, he isn’t likely to see enough playing time to matter from a fantasy perspective.

Christhian Adames went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a stolen base in the Cubs’ win over the Athletics on Wednesday.
Adames drilled his third round-tripper of the spring off Athletics starter Mike Fiers in the fourth inning and also added a stolen base in the fifth. The 27-year-old infielder is hitting .452 (14-for-31) with six extra-base hits and 11 RBI in 14 games this spring. He may not get an opportunity in Chicago, but his strong performance may put him on the radar for another organization this season.

Cubs signed INF Cristhian Adames to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Adames spent the entire 2018 season with the Triple-A affiliate of the Marlins and registered an underwhelming .269/.324/.370 batting line with seven home runs and six stolen bases over 122 games. The 27-year-old will be some form of organizational infield depth for Chicago.

Rockies purchased the contract of SS Cristhian Adames from High-A Modesto.
He’s now on the 40-man roster. Adames batted .280/.352/.378 with a pair of homers at Modesto in 2012.
