Mariners signed INF David Masters to a minor league contract.
Masters was a 14th round pick out of Central Arizona College by the Nationals in 2013, and has spent his entire career in the Washington system before becoming a free agent. He’s a slick defender, but owns just a .648 OPS in 552 games, and won’t be more than organizational depth in 2021 or any other point.
