Phillies re-signed C Edgar Cabral to a minor league contract.
The 26-year-old backstop spent the 2021 campaign at Triple-A Lehigh Valley where he slashed .221/.333/.302 with no homers and 11 RBI in 102 plate appearances. He’s nothing more than minor league catching depth at this stage.
