Braves placed OF Eli White on the 7-day concussion injured list.
White ran into the wall making a catch in the sixth inning of last night’s game. He will now head to the concussion IL for at least a week. If Ronald Acuna Jr. (hamstring) is not healthy by the time White is able to return, White will get some more run in the majors.

Eli White is in concussion protocol after running into the wall while making a catch Sunday against the Dodgers.
White robbed Max Muncy in the sixth and then exited the game at the start of the eighth inning. If White goes on the concussion IL, then the Braves could bring up Nacho Alvarez until they’re ready to active Ha-Seong KIm.

Braves’ manager Walt Weiss told reporters after Thursday’s loss that the plan is for Michael Harris II (quad) to serve as the team’s designated hitter for the remainder of the road trip.
Weiss wouldn’t dismiss the possibility of a trip to the injured list though if the 25-year-old outfielder doesn’t show any improvement. It sounds like Eli White may continue to patrol center field at least through the weekend.

Ronald Acuña Jr. made an early exit from Monday’s game against the Nationals after being hit by pitches twice.
Acuña was replaced in right field by Eli White during the sixth inning of Monday’s showdown after being hit by a pitch on two separate occasions earlier in the contest. He was drilled by Nationals starter Jake Irwin in the fourth inning before being thrown out attempting to steal second base. He was nailed again his next time up in the sixth inning, this time on the left hand, but managed to remain in the contest initially. His early departure appears to be precautionary in nature. There should be an update on his status soon.

Michael Harris II is on the bench for Saturday’s showdown against the Phillies.
White, who has been battling plantar fasciitis recently, draws his first start since April 7 with Michael Harris II on the bench against Phillies ace Cristopher Sánchez.

Eli White (plantar fasciitis) is available off the bench for Wednesday’s game against the Marlins.
White hasn’t played since last Tuesday due to an ongoing foot issue, but the he’ll avoid a trip to the injured list. The 31-year-old reserve outfielder has gotten into just seven games this season.

Eli White (plantar fasciitis) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday’s contest against the Marlins.
White hasn’t played since last Tuesday due to an ongoing foot issue. It’s possible he’ll require a trip to the injured list if he’s unable to go in the next couple days, but we’ve seen Atlanta play with a shorthanded bench for years at this point.

Eli White (plantar fasciitis) is out of the lineup for Monday’s contest against the Marlins.
White would’ve started a pair of games over the weekend while Michael Harris II was away on paternity leave, but he wound up sitting out due to the ongoing foot issue. He’ll continue operating in a bench role but it’s notable that he hasn’t been shipped to the injured list with Atlanta kicking off a new series.

Eli White is unavailable while dealing with plantar fasciitis.
White would likely be in the lineup with Michael Harris II not available on the paternity list, but the injury will keep him on the sidelines. Consider White day-to-day, and don’t consider White for a fantasy roster anyway.

Braves placed OF Michael Harris II on the paternity list.
Harris will be away from the club to be with his family on paternity leave for the next couple days. It’ll likely be Eli White and Mauricio Dubón handling center field in his absence.
