Michael Harris II is on the bench for Tuesday’s game against the Angels.
Harris takes a seat for the first time this season after hitting .209 (9-for-43) with one homer across 11 games to open the season. Eli White is patrolling center field and facing Angels lefty Yusei Kikuchi in this one.
  • ATL Left Fielder #7
Jeff Passan of ESPN reports that Jurickson Profar is facing a 162-game suspension after testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug.
Profar will get the full-season ban for testing positive for a PED for the second time. The 33-year-old missed 80 games due to suspension in 2025 and hit .243/.353/.434 with 14 homers in his 318 at-bats. Mike Yastrzemski and Eli White seem likely to platoon with Profar unavailable in 2026, but it’s possible Atlanta could look outside the organization.
  • ATL Left Fielder #36
Braves and OF Eli White avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year contract.
Financial terms of the agreement have yet to be disclosed. White, 31, hit .234/.270/.406 with 10 homers, 35 RBI, 10 stolen bases and a 70/11 K/BB ratio in a career-high 271 plate appearances with the Braves in 2025. He’s once again expected to function in a reserve outfielder role in 2026, which limits his appeal for fantasy purposes.

Marcell Ozuna is not in the Braves’ starting lineup for Sunday night’s battle against the Phillies.
It’s the third time in the last five games that the 34-year-old slugger has found himself back on the bench for the Braves. Ronald Acuna Jr. will serve as the team’s designated hitter on Sunday while Eli White will draw a start in right field and will bat sixth against Phillies’ left-hander Jesus Luzardo.
  • ATL Right Fielder #13
Ronald Acuña Jr. should be ready to return from his calf strain within the next couple of days, manager Brian Snitker said.
Friday’s series opener in Cleveland might be the plan here. Eli White should head back to the bench when Acuña is activated.

Eli White went 2-for-4 with a double, solo home run and a walk on Tuesday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Braves past the Brewers.
The 31-year-old outfielder drove up Freddy Peralta’s pitch count in his first at-bat, seeing 11 pitches and fouling off four full-count offerings before popping out to second base. He then got the Braves on the board with a 407-foot (106.5 mph EV) solo shot in the fourth inning. White also smacked a two-out double off of Nick Mears in the sixth inning but the Braves were unable to cash him in. With his two-hit night, White is now hitting .254/.294/.421 with seven homers, 25 RBI and seven swipes in 220 plate appearances on the season.
  • ATL Left Fielder #36
Eli White went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in a win over the Reds on Sunday.
White’s first home run was a 411-foot blast that left the bat at 109.6 mph, and he followed that up five innings later with a 413-foot shot that left the bat at 106.8 mph. His bat speed on that last one was 80 mph, which shows that there is certainly some power potential in White’s bat. The 31-year-old will be the regular right fielder until Ronald Acuña Jr. (calf) returns, and could have value in deeper formats.
  • ATL Left Fielder #36
Eli White is starting in right field and batting eighth against the Royals on Wednesday.
With Ronald Acuña Jr. (Achilles) landing on the IL, it will be White who gets the first shot to replace him in the lineup. The 31-year-old has some speed and put together some weeks of fantasy goodness earlier in the year, but he is not a recommended option in most fantasy leagues.
  • ATL Right Fielder #13
Ronald Acuña Jr. is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Twins.
The 27-year-old will take a seat with a day game after a night game. It’s an interesting choice with the team trying to win the series against the Twins, but Atlanta may be prioritizing the health of their star during the second half of a season in which it looks like they won’t be making the playoffs. Eli White will start in right field and bat eighth on Wednesday.
  • ATL Right Fielder #13
Ronald Acuña Jr. has been scratched from Tuesday’s lineup with lower back tightness.
Atlanta isn’t going to take any chances with their franchise icon with next week’s All-Star Game at Truist Park looming large. The 27-year-old fantasy superstar will sit out Tuesday’s series opener against the Athletics in West Sacramento out of an abundance of caution. He’s presumably day-to-day for now. He’ll be re-evaluated in the coming days to determine whether he’ll still participate in the All-Star Home Run Derby on Monday night. It’ll be Eli White taking over in right field with Jurickson Profar moving up to the leadoff spot.
