Tigers prospect Franyerber Montilla will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL suffered on a collision.
He’ll probably be sidelined into next year, as well. Montilla, 20, is listed as the Tigers’ No. 12 prospect by MLB Pipeline. He hit .271/.368/.395 with four homers and 27 steals in 67 games while splitting time between shortstop and second base for Low-A Lakeland this season.
