    Indians manager Eric Wedge said yesterday Grady Sizemore would be his starting center fielder going into spring training.
    Wedge is also promising Coco Crisp a starting job, so it looks like Jody Gerut could be a reserve when he returns from a torn ACL. Of course, things could change if Matt Lawton is traded. The Indians would consider moving Casey Blake to left field to make room for Aaron Boone.

    Grady Sizemore went 3-for-5 with three runs scored and two stolen bases today in the Indians’ 9-4 win over the Rangers.
    After a down July, Sizemore is back fueling the Cleveland offense again in August. He’s batting .328 with nine extra-base hits and 14 RBI in 15 games.

    Grady Sizemore hit a game-winning three-run triple against Royals closer Ambiorix Burgos on Friday to give the Indians a 4-3 victory.
    Burgos retired Jhonny Peralta to start the inning, but he gave up singles to Ryan Garko and Ramon Vazquez before walking pinch-hitter Aaron Boone to load the bases. Sizemore then hit a liner to left that caromed off the wall and past left fielder David DeJesus, thus scoring all three runs.

    Sizemore has five of his 17 steals since July 13. “Grady usually has a good feel for when he can go,’' manager Eric Wedge said. ``He’s not afraid to take those opportunities. Every now and again, I’ll shut him down. Other than that, he’s on his own.’'

    Sizemore singled twice, tripled, and walked once while also adding two RBI and his seventh stolen base of the season. Jason Michaels went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a steal of his own as the club evened their record at 26-26.
