Jacob Misiorowski allowed two hits and two walks across six scoreless frames with 11 strikeouts in a 6-0 win over the Yankees on Friday.
Misiorowski is an alien. That’s the only explanation for his first inning where his fastball averaged 103 mph. Yes, averaged 103 mph. All he threw were fastballs and missed an immaculate inning by about an inch when Aaron Judge laid off a tough pitch. While his velocity tapered off following that inning, his effectiveness didn’t. Only two runners managed to reach scoring position and was able to put all three of his pitches wherever he wanted to. He’s now gone back-to-back starts without giving up a run and has a 2.45 ERA and outrageous 70:17 strikeout to walk ratio across 44 innings this season. His next start is scheduled to come at home against the Padres.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy expressed optimism Jacob Misiorowski (hamstring) will make his next start.
“I think he’s going to be fine,” Murphy told reporters after Misiorowski left Friday’s start during the sixth inning of a no-hit bid with a right hamstring cramp. It’s worth noting that the hard-throwing 24-year-old will still need to make it through a bullpen session before he’s officially cleared to take the ball against the Cardinals on Wednesday. However, it certainly sounds like his early exit was merely out of an abundance of caution.

The Brewers announced that Jacob Misiorowski was pulled from Friday’s start against the Nationals due to a right hamstring cramp.
It’s terrific news to hear that the exit wasn’t arm-related. It sounds like he’ll undergo additional testing to make sure that it’s just a cramp and that there isn’t anything more serious going on, but it sounds like a best-case scenario here. Look for the Brewers to provide another update on his status on Saturday.

Jacob Misiorowski was removed from Friday night’s start in the sixth inning due to an apparent injury.
This one didn’t look good. Misiorowski was working on a no-hitter with one out in the sixth inning against the Nationals and was visited by the training staff following a pitch to James Wood. A long discussion ensued and the decision was ultimately made to pull the prized 24-year-old right-hander. The Brewers should have an update on his status shortly. Stay tuned.

Jacob Misiorowski worked six innings and struck out nine while allowing three runs but received no decision against the Pirates on Saturday.
Misiorowski threw a whopping 39 pitches over 100 mph while picking up 20 swings-and-misses on 91 overall offerings. He also issued only one walk, and while he did allow six hits, it’s worth noting that only four balls put into play registered as hard hits. Misiorowski looked the part Saturday, and it’s pretty easy to imagine double-digit strikeouts versus the Nationals on Friday.

Jacob Misiorowski yielded three runs — one earned — in five innings and struck out nine Sunday in a loss to the Marlins.
The runs came in the first, with a David Hamilton error aiding the rally. Misiorowski had his best velocity of the year, averaging 99.7 mph with his fastball and topping out at 102.5 mph. He generated 18 whiffs, including 14 on his fastball alone. He deserves better than a 1-2 record to go along with his 3.04 ERA, and he’ll try to improve on it next time out against the Pirates.

Jacob Misiorowski worked 5 1/3 innings with five strikeouts and allowing two runs against the Blue Jays on Tuesday, but he didn’t factor in the decision.
Misiorowski dominated the Jays over the first four innings, but then allowed a pair of solo homers to turn a sensational start into just a pretty good one. He had his good velocity and generated a solid 12 swings-and-misses over only 76 pitches, and he didn’t issue a single walk. Misiorowski has looked the part to begin 2026, and he should have no issues handling Miami’s lineup Sunday as long as he throws strikes.

Jacob Misiorowski fanned 10 while allowing three runs in 5 1/3 innings Tuesday against the Red Sox.
Misiorowski was dominant until walking three straight batters on just 13 pitches with one out in the sixth. It still had to be tempting to keep him in with Trevor Story coming up, considering that Story is swinging at everything and has an 18/0 K/BB this season. Still, the Brewers pulled him at 101 pitches, and Story ended up delivering a two-run single off DL Hall. Caleb Durbin then followed with an RBI groundout. It led to Misiorowski’s first loss in three starts this season. His ERA stands at 3.31 with the Blue Jays up next.

Jacob Misiorowski struck out seven and allowed two runs over six innings on Wednesday in a no-decision against the Rays.
Misiorowski left a fastball over the heart of the plate in the third inning, which Rays slugger Yandy Díaz sliced into the right-field seats for a two-run homer. The electrifying 23-year-old flamethrower didn’t make any other mistakes in this one, limiting Tampa Bay’s lineup to just four hits and a pair of walks over six strong frames. He touched triple digits 17 times and averaged an other-worldly 98.9 mph on his four-seam fastball in this one. He’s recorded a pristine 2.45 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 18/5 K/BB ratio across 11 innings over two starts to open his sophomore campaign. He’ll square off against the Red Sox at historic Fenway Park on Tuesday in his next outing.

Jacob Misiorowski limited the White Sox to one run and two hits over five innings and struck out 11 in the Brewers’ 14-2 rout Thursday.
Misiorowski gave up a leadoff homer to Chase Meidroth, but the White Sox couldn’t get to him after that. He got 19 whiffs on his fastball alone and ended up with a 41% CSW. It’s Misiorowski’s third 10-strikeout game in 15 career starts. His high was 12 against the Dodgers last July. Misiorowski is due make his next start Wednesday against the Brewers.
