  • LAA Center Fielder #12
Jake Marisnick went 3-for-3 with a homer and two steals in leading the Angels past the Guardians 5-4 on Saturday.
Marisnick is filling up the box score with nine hits, two homers and five steals in 22 at-bats. The Angels already have five outfielders and only Taylor Ward can be sent down, which isn’t happening. It’s hard to see how Marisnick could make the team unless someone gets hurt, but the impressive spring could put him on another team’s radar.
  • LAA Center Fielder #12
Angels signed OF Jake Marisnick to a minor league contract.
Marisnick played in 46 games with the White Sox, Tigers and Dodgers last season, hitting .237/.280/.408 in 83 plate appearances. Typically a platoon player against left-handed pitching, he’ll battle for a spot on the Angels’ bench in spring training.
  • LAD Center Fielder #12
Dodgers transferred OF Jake Marisnick to the 60-day injured list.
Nothing has changed in the recovery process for Marisnick, this was merely done as a procedural move to free up a spot on the club’s 40-man roster for Gus Varland on Tuesday. Marisnick, who has been shelved with a hamstring strain, won’t be eligible to return until mid-September.
  • LAD Outfielder #15
Jake Marisnick (hamstring) is expected to be sidelined for three weeks.
Marisnick landed on the injured list earlier in the week with a left hamstring strain. It sounds like he should be ready to return around mid-August. Jonny Deluca will continue to see action in his place against left-handed pitching.
  • LAD Outfielder #15
Dodgers placed OF Jake Marisnick on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain.
Marisnick was injured last night in just his fourth game with the Dodgers. Jonny Deluca will cover for him against lefties.
  • LAD Outfielder #15
Jake Marisnick is undergoing an MRI and likely will land on the IL with the hamstring injury he suffered Tuesday.
The Dodgers have Jonny DeLuca on the way to Baltimore to take Marisnick’s spot.
  • LAD Outfielder #15
Jake Marisnick was pulled from Tuesday’s game against the Orioles due to tightness in his left hamstring.
Marisnick entered the game as a pinch-hitter for Jason Heyward, but exited shortly afterwards after suffering the hamstring injury. He’ll be evaluated further to determine the severity of the injury.
  • LAD Outfielder #15
Jake Marisnick was pulled from Tuesday’s contest against the Orioles due to an apparent injury.
The 32-year-old outfielder jogged out to center field to start the fourth inning, but ended up being greeted by the training staff and eventually walking off. No word yet on exactly what happened there, but the Dodgers should have an update on his status shortly.
  • LAD Outfielder #15
Dodgers signed OF Jake Marisnick to a one-year contract.
The initial report from Kenny Van Doren was confirmed by Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Marisnick was recently designated for assignment by the Tigers and chose to test free agency rather than accept an outright assignment to Triple-A. The 32-year-old slashed .232/.270/.420 with two homers and 10 RBI over 33 games with the Tigers this season. He’ll give the Dodgers a right-handed bat off the bench, as well as some added depth in center field.
  • DET Center Fielder #15
Tigers designated OF Jake Marisnick for assignment.
With Akil Baddoo and Riley Greene returning from the injured list, it was an inevitability that Marisnick would be out of a job. He showed enough during his time with the Tigers though that he could garner another opportunity through waivers.
