Palish made one relief appearance last month for the White Sox. The procedural move opens up a spot on Chicago’s 40-man roster.

Palisch allowed two runs over one frame in his lone appearance for the White Sox after being called up earlier this week from Double-A with Adrian Houser away on paternity leave. The 26-year-old lefty will return to the minors to continue his development.

The White Sox are revamping their bullpen, as both Palisch and Wikelman Gonzalez are up for a c hance to make their MLB debuts. Palisch has been outstanding in 2025 with a 1.19 ERA, but it’s come from just 35 strikeouts in his 53 innings. He likely works as a multi-inning bullpen arm to begin his career.
