In 21 games with the big league club back in 2015, he pitched to a 4.25 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 22/17 K/BB ratio over 29 2/3 frames. The 24-year-old right-hander spent the 2016 season at Double-A Bowie. He holds a career 4.69 ERA in the minors and is unlikely to earn a call back to the bigs unless injuries hit the O’s bullpen.

    The Orioles needed to clear a spot on their 40-man roster for Damien Magnifico, who was acquired from Milwaukee on Thursday. The 24-year-old made 21 relief appearances for the O’s in 2015 but has spent the last year and change with Double-A Bowie.
