Fermin heads back to the minors after allowing five runs and only recording two outs during Monday’s relief outing against the Rockies. The 24-year-old has posted an inflated 5.40 ERA and 18/13 K/BB ratio across 15 innings for the Angels this season.

Fermin will add a fresh arm to an Angels’ bullpen that has been knocked around lately. The 24-year-old hurler did a decent job in his first nine appearances at the Triple-A level this season, compiling a 3.27 ERA, 1.73 WHIP and a 16/9 K/BB ratio across 11 innings. He’ll function in middle relief for the Angels.

Fermin had a 4.46 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and 39/23 K/BB ratio in 34 1/3 innings for the Angels last season. The 24-year-old could begin this year at Triple-A.

No word yet on the reason for the move. It’ll be José Fermín taking over at second base with Lars Nootbaar moving up to the leadoff spot in his absence.

Fermin returns to the big leagues for Sunday’s series finale against the Athletics after spending a couple weeks back on the farm. The 23-year-old rookie has posted an underwhelming 6.63 ERA across 19 innings (23 appearances) this season in the big leagues.

Fermin gets the call to replace Hector Neris in the bullpen. The 23-year-old offers some long-term upside but isn’t likely to have a significant role from a fantasy perspective for the remainder of 2025.

Fermin returns to the minors after throwing 28 pitches over 1 2/3 scoreless innings on Sunday against the Mariners. The 23-year-old rookie right-hander has posted a respectable 4.82 ERA across 9 1/3 innings (10 appearances) this season in his first shot at the highest level.

The 23-year-old right-hander had been shelved since May 15 due to a right elbow impingement. He’s feeling much better after a few weeks off though and will rejoin the Angels’ bullpen for Friday’s ballgame against the Mariners. Sam Aldegheri was optioned to Double-A Rocket City in a corresponding move.

Fermín heads to the injured list after compiling a pedestrian 5.87 ERA across 7 2/3 innings (nine appearances) for the Angels since being called up back on April 26. No word yet on how much time he’s going to miss, but elbow-related issues typically lead to extended absences.
