Ingram was cut loose earlier this week afrer struggling to an inflated 5.68 ERA across 12 2/3 innings (10 appearances) this season in Atlanta’s system. The 28-year-old southpaw made five relief appearances for the Angels back in 2023. There’s likely an organization out there willing to roll the dice since he’s a lefty with big-league experience.

Ingram bolsters Atlanta’s left-handed relief depth heading into spring training following stops with five different organizations last year where he compiled a respectable 3.59 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 52/36 K/BB ratio across 52 2/3 innings (46 appearances) in the upper minors. The 28-year-old southpaw made five appearances during the 2023 campaign for the Angels.

Ingram, who has yet to pitch in the majors this season, was placed on waivers for the sixth time since February and went unclaimed for the first time. Since it’s his first outright assignment, he’ll remain with Sacramento.

Ingram didn’t pitch during his two days with the Giants. The move opens up a spot for Blake Snell, who will come off the injured list and start Tuesday.

Ingram was claimed off waivers earlier this week from the Cardinals and will bolster San Francisco’s relief depth heading into Saturday’s showdown against the Guardians. The 27-year-old lefty made five relief appearances last year for the Angels and has yet to pitch in the majors this season.

Ingram will head to Triple-A Sacramento as extra organizational relief deoth fro the Giants. The 27-year-old lefty hasn’t appeared in the big leagues this season after making five relief appearances last year for the Angels.

Ingram is removed from the 40-man roster to make room for Jacob Bosiokovic with Bosiokovic called up to St. Louis in the corresponding transaction. Ingram will now be on the waiver wire, and if he goes unclaimed there’s a good chance he remains in Triple-A Memphis.

The 27-year-old southpaw is once again on the move after being claimed off of waivers for the third time this calendar — after being jettisoned off of the 40-man rosters of the Tigers, Mets and now Rangers. He has registered a 5.14 ERA, 2.00 WHIP and a troublesome 3/7 K/BB ratio over seven frames at the Triple-A level this season.

This is Ingram’s second time being waived this season as he was let go by the Mets in late April. The 27-year-old has posted a 5.14 ERA, 2.00 WHIP and 3/7 K/BB ratio across seven innings with Triple-A Syracuse and Round Rock this season.

The Mets were the latest team to try to slip the 27-year-old southpaw through waivers unclaimed, but once again someone was willing to take a flier on him. Ingram posted a 7.20 ERA, 2.20 WHIP and a 3/6 K/BB ratio across five innings at Triple-A Syracuse.
