Orioles signed OF Kyeong Kang to a minor league contract.
Kang posted a promising .264/.365/.479 batting line with 16 home runs and 49 RBI in 124 games this summer between High-A Charlotte and Double-A Montgomery (affiliates of the Rays). The 25-year-old native of Korea will serve as organizational outfield depth for the O’s.
