Pirates acquired RHP Kyle Robinson from the Athletics for INF Alika Williams.
Robinson was an 11th-round pick in the 2024 MLB Draft and has pitched just 51 innings above High-A over the last two years. The 22-year-old righty holds a pedestrian 3.62 ERA and 19/13 K/BB ratio across 27 1/3 innings for High-A Midland this season. He’s merely organizational fodder for Pittsburgh.
