Landen Roupp held the Dodgers to one run with seven strikeouts over five innings to earn the win on Tuesday.
Roupp was sharp over three scoreless innings against the Dodgers before unravelling a bit in the fourth. He walked four batters to bring home a run for Los Angeles. He recovered with a clean fifth inning. Roupp’s day would be done after five as his pitch count reached 106 after the long fourth. He generated 12 whiffs to collect seven strikeouts. The 27-year-old right-hander is off to a great start this season, posting a 2.28 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, and a 31/12 K/BB ratio across 27 2/3 innings. His next start will come Sunday at home against the Marlins.

Landen Roupp breezed through six shutout innings against the Reds on Thursday, striking out six in a win.
He carried a no-hitter into the sixth before allowing a single to P.J. Higgins to lead off the inning. He then took care of a 2-on, no-out threat by striking out Matt McClain and getting Elly De La Cruz to hit into a double play. It was threatening to be a no-decision as Chase Burns matched him frame-for-frame, but Cincinnati’s bullpen forked over three runs in the seventh. Roupp’s peripherals have been strong so far and he should be started with confidence against most teams. We wouldn’t blame you if you shied away from starting him against the Dodgers next week, though.

Landen Roupp allowed one earned run over six innings while striking out for to pick up the win on Friday over the Orioles.
After giving up five earned runs in his last outing against the Mets, Roupp bounced back nicely on Friday against the Orioles. The righty allowed just seven baserunners over six innings of one-run ball, with his lone blemish coming in the fourth inning courtesy of Leody Taveras, who doubled to drive in Dylan Beavers. Roupp has now allowed one or fewer runs in two of his three starts this season and will look to continue his strong start Thursday on the road against the Reds.

Landen Roupp struck out seven over six scoreless innings to get a win in the Giants’ 3-2 victory over the Padres on Monday.
Roupp threw 54-of-88 pitches for strikes, and he was able to procure 13 swings and misses in an impressive first outing of 2026. The 27-year-old averaged 93.5 mph with his sinker; up a little under a mile over his 2025 offering. Roupp has not shown a ton of consistency in his time with the Giants, but there have been flashes that suggest he’s a competent offering in the back - -maybe even the middle — of a rotation. He’ll look to replicate this effort against the Mets next week.

Landen Roupp pitched 5 1/3 innings of two-run ball against the Monterrey Sultanes on Tuesday.
Roupp struck out six and was really effective with the cutter he’s been using more this spring; the 21 times he threw it tonight produced five whiffs, five called strikes, three fouls and no balls in play. If the cutter turns into a quality pitch this season, he might prove useful in mixed leagues. Roupp is expected to make his first start early next week against the Padres.

Landen Roupp yielded three runs in four innings and struck out five Wednesday against the Dodgers.
Roupp has been up about one mph from last year this spring, though that could be a little deceptive; he was also up in this territory at the beginning of last year before fading in May and June. Still, it’s been a rather encouraging spring with his 4.15 ERA and 15/7 K/BB in 13 innings. He could be at least a streaming option in mixed leagues next month.

Landen Roupp wasn’t at his best during Friday night’s Cactus League loss to the Reds, giving up two runs on four hits over his three innings of work.
Roupp punched out four opposing hitters in the contest but also issued three free passes. All of the damage done against him came in the opening inning as JJ Bleday smacked a two-run single. Roupp got five swings and misses on 64 pitches on the evening, registering a CSW of 23 percent. He has done a nice job overall this spring, posting a 3.00 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and a 10/5 K/BB ratio across nine innings in his first four appearances.

Landen Roupp fired two scoreless innings on Monday against the White Sox.
Roupp appears to have a firm grip on the fifth spot in San Francisco’s rotation after accumulating a career-high 106 2/3 innings over 22 starts last year before suffering a season-ending knee injury in late August. The 27-year-old righty will need to miss a few more bats in order to be a relevant mixed-league contributor but he’s a name to watch on the early-season waiver wire for matchup purposes in deeper formats.

Landen Roupp pitched a hitless inning, striking out two, Tuesday against the Angels.
Roupp is being brought along just a tad slowly this spring after missing the end of last year with a bone bruise in his left knee, but he was strong today; all of his pitches were up a tad more than one mph from last year. He’s the clear favorite to serve as the Giants’ fifth starter if he can get through March without incident.

Landen Roupp faced hitters on Saturday in a live batting practice session.
Roupp appears on track for a normal spring training after suffering a season-ending bone bruise in his left knee last August. The 27-year-old righty is vying for one of the final spots in San Francisco’s rotation this spring after posting a serviceable 3.80 ERA — 4.25 xERA — 1.48 and 102/45 K/BB ratio across 106 2/3 innings over 22 starts last year. He’ll need to beat out prospects Carson Whisenhunt, Blade Tidwell and swingman Hayden Birdsong to lock up a rotation spot. There’s some appeal in deeper mixed leagues and NL-only formats.
