Mariners acquired RHP Logan Bawcom and OF Leon Landry from the Dodgers for RHP Brandon League.
Bawcom, 23, has a 2.96 ERA and 10.9 K/9 over parts of three seasons in the minors. He had a 2.03 ERA, 20 saves and a 60/22 K/BB ratio in 48 2/3 innings this season between High-A Rancho Cucamonga and Double-A Chattanooga. With a fastball in the low-to-mid 90s and a good slider, he could be a useful piece of the Mariners’ bullpen before long.

With a strong showing in the spring, he should have a very real chance of securing a spot in the club’s bullpen to start the season.
