The Angels might have to find somebody else to start Saturday against the Yankees.

According to Robert Falkoff of MLB.com, Dan Haren had to cut his bullpen session short earlier today with something Mike Scioscia called a “a little tweak” in his back.

Haren was immediately escorted to the training room for further evaluation, so we should learn more about his status at some point this evening.

Haren is 5-3 with a 2.29 ERA and 74/14 K/BB ratio over 12 starts and one relief appearance this season. He currently ranks second in the American League with 86 1/3 innings pitched and third with a 0.94 WHIP.
