I predict that, over the next five years, the Dbacks vs. the Dodgers will be the fiercest .500 team vs. winning team rivalry in all of sports. To continue the bad blood -- all of which seems to be flowing from Phoenix to L.A. and none back -- here is the Diamondbacks’ owner Ken Kendrick:
“We owe those guys,” Kendrick said. “I think to get the opportunity to begin the payback for them winning the division the very first day of the season is a great opportunity for us.”
The Dodgers, when reached for comment, said “who?”
