Padres third baseman Manny Machado is officially on the board. He belted a two-run home run off of Diamondbacks reliever Matt Andriese in the bottom of the seventh inning on Wednesday afternoon, registering his first home run in a Padre uniform. The blast upped the Padres’ lead to 4-0.

Along with the dinger, Machado also walked twice in four plate appearances. Machado entered the afternoon with a meager .467 OPS in his first four games.
