For major league players, signing autographs likely gets mundane after a while. The faces start to blur, and one begins to dread the wrist pain that comes after signing for too long. For fans -- especially kids -- however, it’s a rare opportunity to meet an idol and get a memento of the brief meeting in the form of an autograph.

After leaving Monday’s spring training game, Angels outfielder Mike Trout made a kid’s day by giving him an autograph. In this video, you can see the kid frantically try to get Trout’s attention for an autograph and basically chases him down. When Trout finally signs his ball, the kid freaks out. It’s very cute.
