    Brewers purchased the contract of RHP Nick Bucci from High-A Brevard County.
    The move protects him from December’s Rule 5 Draft. Bucci, 22, has a 3.76 ERA over five seasons in pro ball and is considered to have one of the best arms in the organization. He was limited to just 42 2/3 innings this season after a shoulder injury, but recently participated in the Arizona Fall League.
