Red Sox released RHP Nortwith Gudiño.

Red Sox sent RHP Norwith Gudiño outright to Triple-A Worcester.
Gudiño was removed from Boston’s 40-man roster on Tuesday to make room for setup specialist John Schreiber to return from the 60-day injured list. The 27-year-old righty was up with the Red Sox last weekend, but didn’t end up making an appearance.

Red Sox selected the contract of RHP Norwith Gudiño from Triple-A Worcester.
Gudiño has been added to Boston’s 40-man roster and will serve as the 27th man for the Red Sox in Saturday’s game against the Mets. Both teams get a 27th man because they played the suspended game this afternoon. The 27-year-old has a 5.54 ERA in 52 innings for Triple-A Worcester.
  • MLB Starting Pitcher #32
Red Sox reassigned RHP’s Jake Faria, Durbin Feltman, North Gudiño and Taylor Broadway to minor league camp.
Faria signed a minor league contract last month with the Red Sox and will open the regular season at Triple-A Worcester as organizational relief depth.

Red Sox signed RHP Norwith Gudino to a minor league contract.
Gudino compiled a calamitous 8.87 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 60/31 K/BB ratio across 47 2/3 innings (26 appearances, six starts) last year for Triple-A Sacramento in the Giants’ minor league system. The 27-year-old righty represents an organizational depth addition for the Red Sox.
