    Mariners released RHP Ryan Loutos.
Loutos had a 3.4 ERA for Triple-A Memphis in 2024 and managed a 3.50 ERA between three different Triple-A teams in 2025. He’ll look to catch on elsewhere. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that the 27-year-old could be a useful bullpen piece at some point.

Mariners designated RHP Ryan Loutos for assignment.
Loutos loses his spot on Seattle’s 40-man roster with the club finalizing an eight-year, $95 million contract extension with top prospect Colt Emerson. The 27-year-old reliever made 12 appearances between the Dodgers and Nationals last year.

Mariners optioned RHP Ryan Loutos to Triple-A Tacoma.
Loutos was claimed off waivers from the Nationals back in November with the intention that he’d compete for a spot in the team’s Opening Day bullpen. He struggled in Cactus League play though, posting a posting an 18.00 ERA, 2.33 WHIP and a 4/0 K/BB ratio in three innings over his four appearances. He’ll open the season as extra bullpen depth at Triple-A Tacoma.

Mariners claimed RHP Ryan Loutos off waivers from the Nationals.
Since debuting with the Cardinals in 2024, Loutos has given up 17 earned runs and struck out eight in 12 innings as a major leaguer. He’ll probably wind up back on waivers later this winter, but if not, he’ll battle for a bullpen spot in spring training.

Nationals optioned RHP Ryan Loutos to Triple-A Rochester.
Loutos was with the team for just two days this time around. He gave up one run on one hit over 2/3 of an inning during Sunday’s loss to the Brewers. He’ll continue to serve as extra bullpen depth for the Nats at the Triple-A level for the time being. The Nationals are expected to promote PJ Poulin on Monday to take the open roster spot.

Nationals recalled RHP Ryan Loutos from Triple-A Worcester.
Loutos is one of four new additions for the Nationals after their deadline dealings. The 26-year-old will operate in the middle innings for the remainder of 2025 — assuming he pitches well enough to stick on the roster, of course.

Nationals optioned RHP Ryan Loutos to Triple-A Rochester.
Loutos heads back to the minors to make room for Shinnosuke Ogasawara to come up and take the ball on Sunday against the Red Sox. The 26-year-old righty has made eight relief appearances this season for the Nationals.

Nationals recalled RHP Ryan Loutos from Triple-A Rochester.
Loutos was just sent down Thursday to make room for Andrew Chafin. He’s back now as a result of Trevor Williams’ elbow injury, though he might just stay until a fifth starter is needed next week. Loutos gave up eight runs — six earned — over 4 1/3 innings in his first stint with the Nationals.

The 26-year-old hurler was just claimed off of waivers from the Dodgers on Tuesday. He’ll get his first opportunity to work out of the Nationals’ bullpen with Andrew Chafin (hamstring) heading to the injured list. Loutos has registered a 15.00 ERA, 2.00 WHIP and a 2/2 K/BB ratio over three innings at the big league level this season.
