Steward Berroa (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Nashville.
Berroa was placed on the injured list just before the start of the regular season with a shoulder strain. The 26-year-old isn’t a lock to see time with the Brewers after the rehab assignment concludes, but could be a bench option at some point.
  • MIL Right Fielder #35
Brewers placed OF Steward Berroa on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to March 22, with a right shoulder strain.
Berroa is likely to head to Triple-A Nashville as organizational depth once he wraps up a minor league rehab assignment. The 26-year-old outfielder appeared in two games for the Brewers last year.

Brewers optioned OF Steward Berroa to Triple-A Nashville.
Berroa went 0-for-5 in a pair of games for the Brewers earlier this week while Blake Perkins was on bereavement leave.
  • MIL Right Fielder #37
Brewers recalled OF Steward Berroa from Triple-A Nashville.
Berroa will have a chance to make his MLB debut if/when he gets into a game. The 26-year-old takes the roster spot of Blake Perkins with Perkins on the bereavement list. Berroa doesn’t profile as more than organizational depth, and fantasy managers shouldn’t add consider a speculative roster addition.
