García suffered a shoulder injury while attempting to throw out a runner at the plate on a seventh-inning sacrifice fly from Kazuma Okamoto. He was replaced by Steward Berroa in right field. He’ll undergo further evaluation to determine the severity of this issue.

The 26-year-old outfielder takes the roster spot of Otto Kemp after he was optioned to Triple-A on Thursday.
