Red Sox acquired RHP Theo Denlinger from the White Sox for RHP Franklin German.
Denlinger posted a serviceable 4.47 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 66/21 K/BB ratio across 48 1/3 innings (40 appearances) last season between High-A Winston-Salem and Double-A Birmingham. The 26-year-old righty is a long-term relief project for the Red Sox.
