Angels sent RHP Touki Toussaint outright to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Toussaint went unclaimed on waivers after being removed from Los Angeles’ 40-man roster prior to Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays. The 28-year-old righty made just one relief appearance during his brief stint with the club. He figures to stick around as extra organizational relief depth.

Angels designated RHP Touki Toussaint for assignment.
Toussaint’s stay with the Angels lasted roughly 48 hours and involved exactly one relief appearance. The 28-year-old righty figures to pass through waivers unclaimed and will likely elect free agency instead of accepting an outright assignment back to Triple-A Salt Lake.

Angels selected the contract of RHP Touki Toussaint from Triple-A Salt Lake.
Toussaint signed with the Angels just before the start of the regular season, and now he’ll get a chance to help the Los Angeles bullpen. The 28-year-old is a former top prospect, but hasn’t had much success at the highest level.

Angels signed RHP Touki Toussaint to a minor league contract.
Toussaint was a highly-regarded pitching prospect roughly a decade ago, but never quite blossomed into an impact contributor at the highest level. The 28-year-old righty has bounced around the last few seasons. He made 11 relief appearances last year for the White Sox. He’ll head to Triple-A Salt Lake as extra organizational relief depth.

White Sox sent RHP Touki Toussaint outright to Triple-A Charlotte.
Toussaint was a highly-regarded pitching prospect last decade, but never quite turned into a weapon at the highest level, bouncing around between a handful of organizations since breaking into the majors back in 2018. The 28-year-old righty went unclaimed on waivers after being designated for assignment earlier this week after struggling to a bloated 7.43 ERA, 2.30 WHIP and 26/18 K/BB ratio across 23 innings (11 appearances).

White Sox designated Touki Toussaint for assignment.
The bad news for Toussaint is that he’s off the MLB roster. The good news is that he doesn’t have to pitch for the White Sox anymore. The 28-year-old will likely be looking for a new organization during the 2025 offseason, and the options will probably be limited.

White Sox selected the contract of RHP Touki Toussaint from Triple-A Charlotte.
Toussaint, who had a 4.97 ERA in 15 starts and four relief appearances for the White Sox last year, will be making his 2024 debut. He wasn’t performing very well at Charlotte, having amassed a 5.15 ERA and a 49/39 K/BB ratio in 50 2/3 innings.

White Sox sent RHP Touki Toussaint outright to Triple-A Charlotte.
Toussaint will stay within the White Sox’ organization to start the 2024 season. The 27-year-old struggled in spring camp allowing 10 hits and 11 earned runs in 7 2/3 innings of work. The team obviously hopes he can get back to a better place at the minor-league level.

White Sox designated RHP Touki Toussaint for assignment.
The former top prospect was having a rough spring, which might be the understatement of understatements. He posted a 12.91 ERA, 2.74 WHIP, and 2/11 K/BB ratio across 7 2/3 innings. While that strikeout-to-walk ratio is unsustainable, it remains to be seen if another ballclub will take a chance on the once highly thought-of prospect.

Touki Toussaint walked five and gave up six runs — four earned — while getting just one out against the Cubs on Friday.
Ouch. Toussant spent the second half of last season in the White Sox rotation and was surprisingly competent, but it looks like he’ll be in the bullpen initially if he makes the team this year.
