Posey caught all 14 innings of Monday night’s marathon win over the Marlins. He also appeared to injure his finger on a slide into third base, but his absence Tuesday night is more about rest than anything. Trevor Brown will start at catcher versus Miami.
RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: With Posey sitting, Brandon Crawford will take over the clean-up spot and provides really nice value at several DFS outlets. Crawford owns a .362 wOBA, .190 ISO and 36.9 hard% against RHP on the road, and while Tom Koehler has shown some reverse split tendencies over the last two years, he’s still allowing more hard contact to lefties. Brandon Belt (.376 wOBA, .198 ISO) will hit in front of Crawford with Conor Gillaspie slotting fifth.
