Tyler Gentry blasted a three-run homer on Tuesday night, powering the Royals to a 4-0 victory over the Cubs in Cactus League action.
Gentry reached on a fielder’s choice in the third inning on Tuesday and came around to score the game’s first run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Maikel Garcia. He then put the game away with a mammoth three-run blast off of Richard Lovelady with two outs in the seventh inning. It was a nice day for the 25-year-old outfielder, but Gentry is still hitting just .167 (2-for-12) on the spring.
