William Contreras went 2-for-5 with a solo homer against the Rockies on Saturday.
Contreras knocked a base hit in the first inning, then slugged a solo homer off Brennan Bernardino in the seventh, a 434-foot blast to left center to extend the Milwaukee lead. The home run was the fifth of the season for the 28-year-old backstop. He’s slashing .283/.342/.391 with 32 runs scored and 38 RBI across 257 plate appearances.

Jackson Chourio is not in the Brewers’ starting lineup for Sunday’s contest against the Astros in Houston.
It looks to be nothing more than a routine day off for the dynamic 22-year-old outfielder. William Contreras is also getting a breather for the Brewers in this one. Sal Frelick will start in right field and bat seventh while Gary Sanchez does the catching and hits sixth for the Brewers against Astros’ right-hander Tatsuya Imai on Sunday.

William Contreras is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Dodgers.
Contreras gets a rare day off for the middle game of the series against Los Angeles. Gary Sanchez will be the backstop and hit fifth with Robert Gasser on the bump for the Brew Crew.

William Contreras went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Friday’s win over the Dodgers.
Contreras put the Brewers on the board in the first inning when he deposited a slider from Justin Wrobleski 412 feet into the left-field seats. It was his fourth homer of the season. As it would turn out, that homer would be all the Brewers would need as the Dodgers were held to just one run on the night in a game that was dominated by Milwaukee starter Logan Henderson. Contreras continues to swing a hot bat and has now hit safely in seven straight games while slashing .329/.390/.384 on the month.

William Contreras went 2-for-4 with two RBI, including a game-winning sac fly in the 10th, as the Brewers edged the Yankees 4-3 on Saturday.
Thanks to a big assist from Tim Hill, who bizarrely decided to try for an out at third on a comebacker in the 10th and ended up nearly breaking the hand of a sliding Luis Rengifo, the Brewers only needed Contreras to deliver an outfield fly to win this one, and he did so successfully. He’s 13-for-34 with a homer and 10 RBI in his last eight games.

Williams Contreras went 4-for-5 with three RBI and one run scored in a 6-1 win over the Nationals on Friday.
The Nationals had no answers for Contreras here. He didn’t even hit the ball especially hard, especially by his powerful standards, just consistently where defenders weren’t. Two of his four hits brought runners home in this easy win and the scalding hot Contreras has now notched back-to-back four hit games. Those have sent his batting average up to .310 in what’s shaping up to be an excellent bounce back campaign.

William Contreras went 4-for-4 with a homer, a double, four RBI and a walk in the Brewers’ 13-1 rout of the Diamondbacks on Thursday.
Contreras got the scoring started by doubling in Garrett Mitchell in the first and just kept going from there. It’s his sixth career four-hit game. He’s currently batting .288/.363/.432 with easily the best contract numbers of his career. His strikeout rate is just 11.4 percent, down from 18.2 percent last year and 21.7 percent for his career.

William Contreras drove in a pair of runs while going 2-for-4 in a blowout win over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
Contreras also drew a walk, and he scored two runs. He was in a middle of a 1-for-13 funk prior to Tuesday’s game, but the three-reach contest sees his slash improve to .272/.348/.388. Assuming good health, Contreras is essentially a lock to finish as one of the top fantasy catching options in 2026.

William Contreras is not in the Brewers’ starting lineup for Sunday afternoon’s tilt against the Marlins.
It appears to be nothing more than a routine day of rest for the 28-year-old backstop. Sal Frelick and Joey Ortiz also find themselves on the Brewers’ bench for this one against Marlins’ right-hander Eury Perez. Contreras is off to a nice start at the plate this season, slashing a healthy .306/.398/.472 with a pair of homers and 11 RBI in his first 83 plate appearances.

William Contreras went 2-for-4 and knocked in the tying run in the eighth as the Brewers came back to beat the Blue Jays 2-1 on Wednesday.
With the Brewers trailing 1-0 in the eighth, the first two batters against Tyler Rogers reached on 48- and 61-mph bouncers in front of the plate. The second was called an error on catcher Brandon Valenzeula, who seemed to be hoping the ball would spin foul after a high hop but just died in the dirt. Contreras then singled in the first run with the grounder past the second baseman, and the second run scored on a groundout. It turned into a very tough loss for Rogers, who induced six straight grounders in the inning.
