Moses Wright was effective yet again on Saturday, putting up 17 points (6-of-8 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, one steal, one 3-pointer and two turnovers in only 22 minutes as the Mavericks fell to the Lakers.
Wright went bonkers on Thursday and kept things going in his final Summer League game, and he’s showing why the team signing him to a two-way deal earlier this year looks like a smart move. Don’t expect his numbers in SL to translate to fantasy relevance, however, as Christian Wood and JaVale McGee were both acquired by Dallas earlier this summer and aren’t going to leave much room for Wright to operate. AJ Lawson looked nice with 19 points and some other goodies but did turn it over six times, while No. 37 overall pick Jaden Hardy coughed up the ball seven times to go with his 15 points. Jay Huff (13/2/4/1/3) was the best part of the Lakers’ side of the box score, but we aren’t too concerned with L.A.’s young guns given they don’t really have time to develop them with LeBron James entering his 20th season.

Moses Wright finished Thursday’s loss with 26 points in just 25 minutes off the bench and added 11 rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Wright has been solid in three Summer League games, averaging 15.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 stocks. It’s a nice showcase for the undersized big man who likely won’t crack the rotation in Dallas, especially after the team added JaVale McGee and Christian Wood in the offseason.

Moses Wright is being listed as inactive for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
The Mavs just signed Wright to a two-way deal yesterday but he hasn’t been cleared to play yet. Even when he’s available, there’s a very slim chance he plays enough minutes to help your fantasy team.

The Mavericks have signed Moses Wright to a two-way contract, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Wright, who was not drafted after finishing out his career at Georgia Tech, has been playing for the Clippers’ G League affiliate for most of this season. He had a brief cup of coffee with the NBA squad due to COVID protocol issues, but he would ultimately have to enter the league’s health and safety protocols himself. Wright won’t have an impact fantasy-wise, but he does give the Mavs another frontcourt body with Marquese Chriss currently sidelined due to injury.

Moses Wright (health and safety protocols) won’t play for Clippers on Monday.
Normally this wouldn’t be an issue but the Clippers are pretty depleted right now. Ivica Zubac and Serge Ibaka will be busy tonight.

Moses Wright has inked a 10-day hardship deal with the Clippers, per Shams Charania.
The Clippers don’t have as many injuries or players in protocols as other teams, so their may not be much of an opportunity for Wright. Leave him on the wire until he proves otherwise.

The LA Clippers have waived guard George King and center Moses Wright.
Teams throughout the league are paring their rosters from 20 (the maximum amount allowed during training camp and the preseason) down to 15 (the max amount each team can take into the regular season). King and Wright were not expected to make L.A.'s opening night roster.

The Clippers have signed Moses Wright to an Exhibit 10 contract.
After four seasons at Georgia Tech, Wright was not selected in the 2021 NBA Draft. He played with the Pelicans’ Summer League team in Las Vegas, showing enough to earn a training camp opportunity with the Clippers. He’s a long shot to make the team’s Opening Night roster, but could be an option for the Clippers’ G League affiliate.
