CRAWFORDSVILLE, Indiana: Charli Turner swept the motos at Ironman Raceway to win her second overall of 2026.

Cannon backed up Friday’s holeshot with another on Saturday, but this time she had Lachlan Turner on her back wheel.

Turner took the lead, but crashed on turn later. Turner needed to finish only 10th or better, but with the crash she fell to 17th.

Turner closed in on the top 10 at the end of Lap 1, before stalling and losing contact with Jamie Astudillo.

Charli Cannon took full advantage of a crash by Lachlan Turner to make Saturday’s Moto 2 closer.

The stall only delayed the inevitable as Turner moved into 10th on Lap 2. Turner climbed to fourth in the final running, which was enough to clinch her third consecutive championship.

This was the first time in Turner’s career that she failed to stand on the podium.

Meanwhile, Mayla Herrick and Hannah Hodges moved into the top three.

Herrick secured second and closed to within less than a second to Cannon on Lap 4. But Cannon felt the pressure and responded.

Daniela Guillén took a break from leading the MXGP Women’s Championship to see that the hype is surrounding the WMX.
