Ben Sheppard (ankle) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Bucks.
Sheppard, who played 21 minutes off the bench in Friday’s loss to the Knicks, has not been productive enough to affect fantasy basketball this season, even when he gets the occasional start. Kobe Brown is not on the injury report, and he should figure prominently in the rotation on Sunday.
  • IND Guard-Forward #23
Aaron Nesmith (ankle) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Suns.
Nesmith is on the report due to right ankle injury management, and the Pacers play games on Thursday and Friday. If he sits, Ben Sheppard could return to the starting lineup, raising his short-term fantasy ceiling.
  • IND Guard #29
Quenton Jackson (calf) is doubtful for Thursday’s game against the Suns.
Due to a sore calf, Jackson is on track to miss Thursday’s game. Ben Sheppard should see his minutes increase if Jackson can’t play. However, he is not a must-add player in fantasy leagues.
  • IND Guard-Forward #23
Aaron Nesmith (ankle) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers.
Injured during a February 19 loss to the Wizards, Nesmith is available to play on Wednesday. While he should return to the starting lineup, pushing Ben Sheppard to the bench, Nesmith’s playing time may be limited because of the games he missed.
  • IND Guard-Forward #23
Aaron Nesmith (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers.
Nesmith sprained his ankle during a February 19 loss to the Wizards and hasn’t played since, missing Indiana’s last five games. Ben Sheppard entered the starting lineup in the game before Nesmith’s injury and has remained in that role. If Nesmith can play on Wednesday, Sheppard is likely to lose out on playing time.
  • IND Forward #43
Pascal Siakam (wrist) has been ruled out against the Hornets on Thursday.
This will be a second straight absence for Siakam, which means Ben Sheppard should be in line for another start. Sheppard has averaged 11 points and 2.0 three-pointers over his last four starts and should continue to provide some triples in an increased role.
  • IND Forward #43
Pascal Siakam (wrist) is doubtful for Thursday’s game against the Hornets.
Siakam appears poised to miss a second consecutive game with a sprained left wrist. Ben Sheppard returned to the starting lineup for Tuesday’s loss to the 76ers and should retain that role if Siakam can’t return on Thursday.
  • IND Guard #26
Kam Jones, Andrew Nembhard, Ben Sheppard, Jarace Walker and Jay Huff will start Tuesday’s game against the 76ers.
While Jones and Nembhard are good to go after initially being probable for Tuesday’s game, Pascal Siakam (wrist) is out. As a result, Sheppard moves back into the starting lineup, with Jarace Walker shifting to the four.
  • IND Forward #43
Pascal Siakam (wrist) has been ruled out against the 76ers on Tuesday.
Siakam will be sidelined after playing on Sunday, which was his return from a three-game absence. He pushed Ben Sheppard to the bench on Sunday, so Sheppard should return to the starting unit with Siakam sidelined.
  • IND Forward #5
Jarace Walker amassed 18 points (6-of-13 FGs, 2-of-5 FTs), nine rebounds, six assists, two steals and four three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Mavericks.
Pascal Siakam’s return to the Pacers’ lineup on Sunday did not mean a spot on the bench for Walker, with Ben Sheppard (13/3/2 with three three-pointers in 27 minutes) being the player replaced by Spicy P. And Walker had a good evening against the Mavericks, shooting just under 50 percent from the field and providing solid value in multiple categories. At this point, those who streamed Walker because Siakam was out should hold onto him, as he appears likely to continue logging heavy minutes.
