Chucky Hepburn finished Friday’s win over the Celtics with 13 points (4-of-11 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, eight assists, four steals and three three-pointers.
Toronto rested its entire starting lineup for Friday’s exhibition game. While that did not result in Hepburn moving into the starting five, it did free up additional minutes for him off the bench. And the two-way contract player out of Louisville took full advantage, helping spark a fourth-quarter rally that turned a 10-point deficit into a two-point victory. Hepburn is not someone to consider in redraft leagues. Still, the defensive intensity and the success of Toronto’s G League program make him an intriguing late-round option in dynasty drafts.
