Coby White shot 5-of-16 from the field and 1-of-2 from the foul line in Friday’s 112-91 loss to the Heat, tallying 13 points, two rebounds, four assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
What a difference a game makes. Two nights removed from torching the Hawks for 42 points, White ran into more significant resistance in Miami. The Heat made life difficult for the Bulls guard, who had as many turnovers as assists (four). Friday’s performance was a disappointing end to the best season of White’s NBA career, and he will receive some votes for the Most Improved Player award. Entering the season with a Yahoo ADP of 138.9, he provided 8th-round per-game value in 8- and 9-cat formats. With Lonzo Ball’s (knee) status for next season undetermined, Coby will be worth considering as a top-100 pick in standard league drafts.

Coby White led Chicago with 42 points (15-of-21 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs), nine rebounds, six assists, two steals and three triples in a 131-116 win over Atlanta on Wednesday.
White may not win the league’s Most Improved Player award, but after a breakout season, he went nuclear in their first game of the postseason. The Play-In Tournament doesn’t technically count towards a player’s stats, but this would have been a career-high for points for White, and he did it with ridiculous efficiency. It has been an incredible year for White, but they’ll need one more big game out of him to make it to the playoffs. They’ll travel to play the Heat with a chance to take on the Celtics in the first round on the line.

Coby White posted a line of 26 points (12-of-18 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 43 minutes in Sunday’s overtime loss to the Knicks.
The lone negative for White on Sunday was the 3-point shooting, as he missed all three of his attempts. However, that didn’t keep him from scoring 26 points, as the Knicks struggled to keep the jet-quick guard from getting to his spots off the dribble. White heads into the Play-In tournament having scored 20 or more in three of his last four games. Alex Caruso didn’t struggle from beyond the arc, as he was 3-of-5 and finished with 15 points, five rebounds, eight assists, and five steals in 41 minutes. Chicago hosts Atlanta on Wednesday in the East’s 9/10 matchup.

Ayo Dosunmu (right quad contusion) is questionable for the Bulls’ Thursday matchup with the Pistons.
Dosunmu sat alongside Coby White (left ankle sprain) and Alex Caruso (left ankle contusion) on Tuesday but could return to action for the Bulls’ next game. White and Caruso are trending toward playing and both would benefit from Dosunmu’s absence if he’s ruled out.

Coby White finished Tuesday’s loss to the Knicks with 24 points (11-of-22 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 42 minutes.
White was one of three Bulls starters (DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic) to score at least 24 points on Tuesday. They didn’t get much help from their teammates, as no other Bull scored more than nine with Ayo Dosunmu sidelined. While his scoring has tailed off recently, White has been a pleasant surprise in fantasy basketball this season. Entering the season with a Yahoo ADP of 130, he has provided 8th-round per-game value in 8-cat formats. Alex Caruso, who did not play in Sunday’s loss to the Magic, returned to the lineup on Tuesday and finished with nine points, five rebounds, six assists, two steals, two blocks, and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

Coby White (left ankle sprain) and Alex Caruso (left ankle contusion) are available for Tuesday’s game against the Knicks, while Ayo Dosunmu (right quad contusion) is out.
For the second consecutive game, the Bulls will be down a starter on the perimeter. However, instead of Caruso sitting, Dosunmu is out due to injury. This could keep Javonte Green in the starting lineup, especially since he torched the Knicks on Friday.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #6
Alex Caruso (left ankle contusion) is listed as questionable for Tuesday’s Bulls-Knicks game.
Caruso sat on Sunday against the Magic and could miss a second straight contest to kick off a new week. Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu (quad) could dominate the backcourt minutes if Caruso needs more time off to recover.

Ayo Dosunmu (right quad contusion) is listed as questionable for the Bulls’ game against the Knicks on Tuesday.
Dosunmu has played in all but two of Chicago’s games this season. He and Alex Caruso are questionable, so Coby White could be especially active against New York.

Coby White (left ankle sprain) is probable for Tuesday’s game against the Knicks.
White injured his ankle during the first half of Friday’s win over the Knicks, but that did not keep him from starting against the Magic on Sunday. He played 38 minutes in Orlando and should take on a similar workload as the Bulls look to lock up home-court advantage for their upcoming Play-In tournament matchup with the Hawks.

Coby White (left ankle sprain) and Torrey Craig (right knee sprain) are available for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
White will not miss any time after injuring his ankle during Friday’s win over the Knicks. As for Craig, he will come off the bench despite the Bulls being without Alex Caruso (ankle). The veteran wing is not worth streaming, as Javonte Green has been tabbed to fill the void in the starting lineup.
