Nets reporter Erik Slater reports that Danny Wolf (ankle) and Noah Clowney (wrist) are out for Monday’s matchup with the Trail Blazers, and Nic Claxton (rest) is available.
Claxton sat out Sunday, but he’ll be available for the second leg of Brooklyn’s back-to-back set. Claxton should see significant work in the frontcourt, especially since Day’Ron Sharpe (thumb) has also been ruled out.

The Nets announced on Thursday that Day’Ron Sharpe (thumb) will be out for the remainder of the season.
Sharpe, who missed the Nets’ last two games with a left thumb injury, has been diagnosed with a torn UCL in the thumb. As a result, he’ll undergo surgery and miss the rest of the season. This is a rough turn for fantasy managers who targeted Sharpe for the silly season. While Danny Wolf has been used more on the perimeter, his opportunities may increase in the aftermath of Sharpe’s injury, especially if the Nets look to play starters Nic Claxton and Noah Clowney less. Josh Minott and Chaney Johnson have also played rotation minutes recently and are worth watching.

Day’Ron Sharpe (thumb) is out for Thursday’s game against the Hawks.
Thursday’s game will be the second that Sharpe has missed due to a sprained left thumb. Josh Minott and Chaney Johnson played rotation minutes off the bench in Tuesday’s loss to the Pistons, but neither player needs to be rostered in redraft leagues.

Day’Ron Sharpe (thumb) and Ziaire Williams (illness) are out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Pistons.
Sharpe is coming off one of his better games of the season after posting a 19/5/2/2/1 line against the Grizzlies on Monday. He’s dealing with a left thumb sprain and will get the night off for the second leg of a back-to-back set. Nic Claxton should handle an increased workload with Sharpe out of action, while Danny Wolf could operate as Claxton’s top backup. The absence of Williams isn’t as impactful, but it could mean more minutes for Ochai Agbaji.

Day’Ron Sharpe finished Monday’s win over the Grizzlies with 19 points (8-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and one three-pointer.
Despite coming off the bench, Sharpe enjoyed one of his best games of the season in Monday’s 126-115 win over the Grizzlies. A double-digit scorer in three of his last four appearances, the Nets’ backup center has hit 19 points four times since February 1. At this point in the season, Sharpe has reached a point where deep-league managers can justify slotting him into lineups, even on nights when Nic Claxton (nine points, eight rebounds, five assists and two blocks) is available.

Nic Claxton (thumb) is available for Tuesday’s matchup with the Heat.
Claxton sat out Sunday’s tilt with the Cavaliers, but he’ll return following a one-game absence. Claxton’s availability will push Day’Ron Sharpe back to the bench after a lukewarm performance in Sunday’s spot start.

Nic Claxton (thumb) is probable for Tuesday’s game against the Heat.
Claxton was held out of Sunday’s loss to the Cavaliers, with Day’Ron Sharpe replacing him in the starting lineup. With Claxton on track to return on Tuesday, Sharpe would be asked to come off the bench. While his fantasy value takes a hit, those who have added Sharpe should hold onto him.

Nic Claxton (thumb) is out for Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers.
A sprained right thumb will keep Claxton out for the Nets’ final game of Week 18. Day’Ron Sharpe has been the replacement in the starting lineup on previous days when Claxton was unavailable, and he is worth streaming as a spot starter.

Nic Claxton (thumb) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Claxton is dealing with a sprained right thumb, casting some doubt on his availability for Sunday’s game. If he’s unable to go, the Nets will turn to Day’Ron Sharpe to fill the void. While this would not be an easy matchup, the opportunity to start raises Sharpe’s fantasy ceiling.

Nic Claxton amassed 12 points (5-of-9 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), four rebounds and two assists in Friday’s loss to the Celtics.
Claxton’s production was limited on Friday, as he failed to record any defensive stats in the 37-point defeat. Add in the lackluster rebounding production, and this was a challenging night for those who have Claxton rostered. And it was worse for those who had hopped onto the Day’Ron Sharpe (2/5/3) bandwagon, as he played 15 minutes and shot 1-of-7 from the field. The Nets’ bigs will look to bounce back on Sunday against the Cavaliers.
