  • PHI Small Forward #9
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that Kelly Oubre Jr. will sign a two-year, $16.3 million deal to return to the 76ers.
The deal includes a player option for the 2025-26 season. Oubre Jr. was effective in his first season with Philly, averaging 15.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.7 blocks and 1.5 triples across 30.2 minutes in 68 appearances. Those numbers, while great on the court, didn’t translate to strong fantasy hoops value. Oubre Jr. ranked outside the top-125 in per-game value, and the arrival of Paul George dampens Oubre Jr.'s appeal. At best, he’ll be a late-round flyer in 12-team leagues in 2024-25 drafts.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Paul George will join the 76ers on a four-year, $212 million deal.
Free agency’s next big domino has fallen, as the two-way star heads East to form a new “Big 3" with Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid. George’s arrival will likely mean less touches for Tyrese Maxey and Kelly Oubre (who just re-signed with Philadelphia on a two-year deal). George’s departure from Los Angeles means the newly-signed Derrick Jones Jr. should see plenty of minutes, and Terance Mann could see more opportunities as a scorer and playmaker. George’s biggest concern as a Clipper was availability, but he appeared in 74 games last season and posted averages of 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 3.3 triples.

Kelly Oubre Jr. amassed 17 points (7-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers in 43 minutes in Thursday’s 118-115 loss to the Knicks.
After scoring 14 points on 5-of-14 shooting in the series’ first two games, Oubre was solid on both ends of the floor for the 76ers. He scored 14 or more in the final four games while accounting for six steals and three blocked shots. Oubre will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, and his production in this series should have preserved his stock. As for his fantasy value, the Tsunami Papi is likely to be a late-round option, at best, unless he lands in a spot where he’s guaranteed a place in the starting lineup.

Kelly Oubre Jr. (illness) will play on Tuesday’s game against the Knicks.
Despite missing the 76ers’ pregame shootaround, Oubre was probable on the initial injury report. He will play in Game 5, with 76ers coach Nick Nurse saying that “it’s a matter of how far he can go” regarding how much Oubre plays. Nicolas Batum and DeAnthony Melton can play additional minutes if Kelly is limited.

Kelly Oubre (illness) is listed as probable for Tuesday’s 76ers-Knicks game.
Oubre didn’t go through shootaround on Tuesday morning because of an illness but is expected to play in Game 5.

Kelly Oubre Jr. shot 7-of-15 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Sunday’s 97-92 loss to the Knicks, tallying 19 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers in 40 minutes.
After scoring 15 points in Philadelphia’s Game 3 victory, Oubre was even more productive in Game 4. Only Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey scored more points among 76ers players, and the Tsunami Papi recorded his second full stat line of the series (Game 2). Given how quiet Tobias Harris has been this series, Oubre has emerged as Philadelphia’s third option on the offensive end of the floor. Unfortunately for the 76ers, they find themselves in a 3-1 hole heading into Game 5 on Tuesday night in New York.

Kelly Oubre Jr. shot 6-of-8 from the field and 1-of-2 from the foul line in Thursday’s 125-114 win over the Knicks, amassing 15 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.
While Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey will lead the way offensively for the 76ers, they will need production from the “others” if they’re to win the series. Oubre and Cam Payne stepped up in Game 3, with the latter making the most of his minutes after not playing at all in Game 2. Oubre was efficient offensively, shooting 75% from the field, and finished one blocked shot shy of a full stat line. As for Payne, he logged 16 minutes and finished with 11 points, one rebound, three assists, two blocks, and three 3-pointers. Philadelphia will need more of the same from Oubre and Payne in Game 4 on Sunday, as the Knicks still hold a 2-1 series lead.

Nicolas Batum shot 0-of-4 from the field in Thursday’s win over Miami, going scoreless with four rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 32 minutes.
With Tobias Harris sidelined, Batum received the starting nod against the Heat. While he didn’t offer scoring, the veteran forward produced solid assist, steal, and blocked shot numbers. That wasn’t enough to justify streaming Batum moving forward, but the few who did on Thursday did not go home empty-handed. Also benefitting from Harris’ absence was Kelly Oubre Jr., who recorded a line of 18 points, eight rebounds, two steals, one block, and two 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

Kelly Oubre lit up the Thunder on Tuesday and contributed 25 points (8-of-16 FGs), six rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and four 3-pointers.
Even with Joel Embiid back in the lineup, Oubre was able to have another big scoring night. He had 32 points against Toronto on Sunday and was able to kick off the current week and a new month with his 10th 25-point performance of the season. Oubre has been a top-75 player in 9-cat leagues over the past two weeks, though if Tyrese Maxey returns to the lineup on Thursday, Oubre’s numbers will likely take a hit. He is an excellent option for Philly when they’re missing their stars, but he will be limited as the team’s third or fourth scoring option.
  • PHI Small Forward #9
Kelly Oubre led the 76ers with 32 points (10-of-22 FGs), seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and six 3-pointers in a 135-120 win over Toronto on Sunday.
In their last game, Oubre had one of his worst games of the season, as he shot 2-of-11 and had just four points. He had quite the bounce back performance and set a new season-high for scoring. Along with the points, he was still able to provide well-rounded numbers, which included some defensive production. This was a phenomenal performance from Oubre, and they needed it from him with Tyrese Maxey out of the lineup due to hip tightness. Even if Maxey is back for their game against the Thunder on Tuesday, Oubre should still be an excellent fantasy option, especially with four games next week.
