Kendall Gill, out for the rest of the season after a recurrence of migrane headaches, said he plans to play one more season.
Gill won’t be back with the Bulls. He’ll probably join a contender as a reserve.

Kendall Gill suffered a strained right Achilles’ tendon late in Friday’s game and had to be helped off the court.
Gill will undergo tests today, but coach Scott Skiles said Gill could “be out awhile.” Ronald Dupree, who already had replaced Gill as a starter, will be the primary beneficiary.

Kendall Gill would like to play for the Lakers this year.
He’s now a 37-year-old boxer who won two professional fights this year, and would like another shot at hoops. ''I can focus on the NBA now,’' said the veteran after his second boxing win on Saturday. ''I’ll see who wants a hungry, very capable, very motivated, very in-shape 37-year-old. The Lakers are my first choice. I love the triangle offense. I love [coach] Phil Jackson.’' He certainly fits the Phil Jackson ideal for a big, old guard (see Ron Harper, etc.) and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him surface with the Lakers at some point.

He’ll have no fantasy value, but will help the injured Bucks.

    Bucks signed guard Kendall Gill.
With Desmond Mason getting a lot more time at small forward, the Bucks figured another reserve guard would help. Gill averaged 9.6 points and 3.4 rebounds in 56 games for the Bulls last season.

    Bucks waived guard Kendall Gill.
Gill appeared in 14 games for the Bucks and averaged 6.1 points and 2.6 rebounds. He should fine another home.

Gill is hoping to play in the NBA this season after being waived by the Bucks last January. If not, maybe he has a boxing career on his hands.
