Landry Shamet recorded 12 points (4-of-9 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, two assists and three three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the 76ers.
On a day when Mikal Bridges (9/3/4 with one three-pointer) and Miles McBride (9/1/2/2 with one three-pointer) combined to shoot 2-of-17 from beyond the arc, Shamet gave the Knicks excellent minutes off the bench. This is the first time he’s reached double figures in consecutive games since returning from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for 25 games. Shamet isn’t worth rostering when the Knicks are whole, but the last two games were a step in the right direction.

Landry Shamet amassed 18 points (6-of-7 FGs), one rebound, two assists, two steals, one block and six three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Nets.
Shamet was red-hot from beyond the arc on Wednesday, making all six of his attempts on the night. While his role doesn’t make him a viable option in most fantasy leagues, the Knicks’ reserve has averaged 2.3 three-pointers per game since returning from a shoulder injury. Shamet will only be worth a look on nights when the Knicks are shorthanded on the wings.

Josh Hart (ankle) is questionable to play against the Suns on Saturday.
Hart wasn’t on the initial injury report, but he is now dealing with soreness in the same ankle that caused him to miss eight games in late December and early January. Mitchell Robinson could start in his place in a two-big lineup, though there should be extra minutes available for Jordan Clarkson and Landry Shamet regardless.

Landry Shamet (shoulder) is available for Thursday’s game against the Warriors.
Thursday’s game will be Shamet’s first since November 22, when he injured his shoulder against the Magic. While his return gives the Knicks additional depth on the perimeter, he’s unlikely to immediately emerge as a player worth rostering in most fantasy leagues.

Landry Shamet (shoulder) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Warriors.
Having last appeared in a game on November 22, Shamet is closing in on a return to action. If he’s able to play Thursday night, the wing will give the Knicks another option to utilize in chasing around Stephen Curry.

Knicks head coach Mike Brown said Wednesday that Landry Shamet (shoulder) participated in Tuesday’s practice.
While Shamet remains out for Wednesday’s game against the Kings, he’s closing in on a return to action. Late last week, he was cleared for contact, and now he’s practiced without any issues. He’ll give the Knicks additional depth on the wing, which won’t affect fantasy basketball but may push Tyler Kolek further out of the rotation.

Landry Shamet (shoulder) has been cleared for contact.
Clared to resume basketball activities a few days after Christmas, Shamet has recently done some controlled contact work, according to Knicks head coach Mike Brown. He still doesn’t have a clearly defined return timeline, so the Knicks will continue without one of their reserve wings for the time being.

According to Stefan Bondy of the New York Post, Landry Shamet (shoulder) has returned to basketball activities.
Shamet has been out since late November after suffering a sprained right shoulder and does not have a clear return timeline. While the return to basketball activities is a step in the right direction, the veteran wing still has not been cleared for contact. While Mohamed Diawara has received a few more opportunities recently, this does not affect fantasy basketball.

Jalen Brunson (ankle) and Miles McBride (ankle) are out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Timberwolves.
With both guards and Landry Shamet (shoulder) sidelined, Tyler Kolek and Jordan Clarkson should be in line for big minutes in the backcourt. Kolek has averaged 7.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.0 assists across 19.8 minutes over his last four games.

Miles McBride accounted for 19 points (6-of-8 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, two steals and five three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Hornets.
Making a second consecutive start, McBride had one of his best performances of the season in Charlotte. He shot 5-of-5 from beyond the arc, with the 19 points being six shy of his season-high. With Landry Shamet (shoulder) out for at least a month, McBride will be a key figure for the Knicks, whether he starts or comes off the bench. From a fantasy standpoint, he’s more valuable as a starter than as a reserve.
