The Hawks selected shooting guard Marcus Eriksson with the 50th pick in the draft.
Eriksson made just one appearance for FC Barcelona during the ACB last season, so this will likely be a draft-and-stash pick for the Hawks. The 21-year-old is a skilled shooter, but he will need to add some strength if he wants to come to the NBA eventually. Eriksson is still under contract in Europe, and the Hawks won’t be in a hurry to bring him over.
