Cade Cunningham (illness) has been upgraded to probable for Friday’s matchup with the Rockets.
Cunningham will be back following a one-game absence, which means Daniss Jenkins should shift back to the bench. Fewer minutes will be available for Marcus Sasser and Jaden Ivey.

Cade Cunningham (wrist) has been ruled out against the Bulls on Wednesday.
Cunningham was originally listed as probable for this game but was downgraded to questionable earlier in the day. He has now officially been ruled out, which will open up plenty of minutes and shots for Jaden Ivey, Daniss Jenkins and Marcus Sasser.

Cade Cunningham (wrist) has been downgraded to questionable for Wednesday’s matchup with the Bulls.
Cunningham’s downgraded status suggests he’s in danger of sitting out against Chicago due to a right wrist contusion. His potential absence could mean more playing time for Daniss Jenkins and Marcus Sasser.

Cade Cunningham (wrist) is probable for Wednesday’s game against the Bulls.
Cunningham, who did about whatever he wanted in Monday’s win over the Knicks, is dealing with a right wrist contusion. The good news is that he’s considered probable, so fantasy managers should assume that Cade will play. If he doesn’t play, Daniss Jenkins and Marcus Sasser will figure more prominently in the Pistons’ rotation.

Caris LeVert (knee) has been ruled out against the Knicks on Monday.
LeVert will miss a fourth straight game, which means Daniss Jenkins and Marcus Sasser will continue to fill his role off the bench. Sasser shined in the first two absences, while Jenkins scored 25 in Detroit’s last game.

Caris LeVert (knee) has been ruled out against the Cavaliers on Sunday.
LeVert remains day-to-day, but he won’t travel with Detroit to Cleveland. Marcus Sasser has stepped up with LeVert sidelined, having averaged 18.5 points over their last two games. He’ll continue to play a significant reserve role with LeVert unavailable for at least one more game.
  • DET Guard #25
Marcus Sasser tallied 18 points (6-of-10 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, two assists, two steals and four three-pointers in Thursday’s loss to the Heat.
With Caris LeVert (knee) sidelined by a knee injury, Sasser has stepped up for the Pistons. He followed up a 19-point performance against the Lakers with 18 more on Thursday, and the overall stat line was solid. Rostered in one percent of Yahoo! leagues, Sasser is not someone who has to be rostered. But he is worth watching, especially if LeVert and Tobias Harris (hip) remain out.

Caris LeVert (knee) has been ruled out against the Heat on Thursday.
LeVert will miss a second straight game, which has opened up extra minutes for both Jaden Ivey and Marcus Sasser, who played 24 minutes off the bench in Detroit’s last games and scored 19 points. Ivey is still having his minutes managed, but Sasser has streaming appeal.

Marcus Sasser recorded 19 points (5-of-8 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), one rebound, five assists, two steals and four three-pointers in Tuesday’s win over the Lakers.
With Caris LeVert (knee) unavailable, there were a few more minutes available to Sasser. And the third-year guard gave the Pistons an immense boost off the bench, scoring a season-high 19 points in 24 minutes. Sasser’s stat line had everything but a blocked shot, but he showed that he can provide shooting off the bench when his name is called. Tuesday’s performance does not change Sasser’s fantasy outlook; he’ll need to string together a few solid performances to become worth the risk. But he is someone to watch for now.

Marcus Sasser (hip) is available for Saturday’s game against the Bucks.
Sasser is officially available to make his season debut on Saturday, improving Detroit’s depth on the perimeter. However, he’s unlikely to get the run needed to impact fantasy basketball. Daniss Jenkins may fall out of the rotation entirely with Sasser available.
