Michael Beasley is out of the NBA, again. After a forgettable half-season with the Heat, he didn’t receive much interest on the free agent market, so he’s returning to China, where he played for the first half of last season.
From Sportando:
Michael Beasley is signing with Shandong of the CBA. Beasley has played last season in China before returning to the Miami Heat who did not pick up the option on his contract for the 2015-16 season.
It’s not surprising that Beasley has washed out of the NBA again — he’s never been able to harness his talent due to various off-court and maturity issues since being the No. 2 overall pick in the 2008 draft, and he wasn’t able to put it together again in Miami, which is not only the team that drafted him but as stable an organization as there is in the league. This might be the end of the rope for Beasley as an NBA player.
